ARDMORE, Okla. — Noble Research Institute has selected Jeff Goodwin as a new pasture and range consultant in the Agricultural Division.
As a pasture and range consultant, Goodwin will assist agricultural producers and land stewards in attaining their quality-of-life and stewardship goals by educating and advising them on sustainable, research-proven practices.
"The Noble Research Institute has earned the respect of the agricultural community by providing their employees the opportunity, support and expectation to excel in their chosen field," Goodwin said. "That level of passion translates through the services they are able to provide to the agricultural producers in the Southern Great Plains. I am proud to be a part of that passion and an organization whose values and mission align with my own."
Goodwin received his bachelor's degree in range and ranch management and his master's degree in agriculture with a concentration on range animal science from Tarleton State University. He previously worked as a Natural Resources Conservation Service rangeland specialist.
"We are pleased to have Jeff join the Noble Research Institute team," said Hugh Aljoe, Noble Research Institute producer relations manager. "He brings 15 years of experience working with ranchers and land owners along with his range and pasture management expertise. Jeff's skills complement our consultation efforts as we serve the farmers and ranchers of the Southern Great Plains."
Goodwin was raised in Northeast Texas but has spent the majority of his life in Central Texas. He and his wife, Amy, have two sons and a daughter.
