Steven Smith

Wildlife and Fisheries Consultant

Smith serves as a wildlife and fisheries consultant in the producer relations program.

Before joining the Noble Research Institute, Smith worked for the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission as a wildlife biologist in southwest Nebraska for two years. His duties included the management of 25,000 acres in 19 wildlife management areas, surveys, depredation concerns and wildlife disease cases.

Smith was born and grew up on a small farm west of Yukon, Oklahoma.
